Cord Blood CD4+CD45RA+ Naïve Helper T Cells, Frozen
Naïve helper T cells are mature T cells that have left the thymus and have yet to be exposed to an antigen presented on the MHC class II molecule of an antigen-presenting cell (APC). In humans, CD4+ naïve helper T cells are constantly recirculating into the secondary lymphoid tissues in order to optimize the opportunity of finding their specific antigen.
Human cord blood CD4+CD45RA+ naïve helper T cells are enriched by depleting cells expressing CD8, CD14, CD16, CD19, CD20, CD36, CD56, CD66b, CD123, CD45RO, TCRγ/δ, and CD235a from the mononuclear cell population using immunomagnetic particles leaving purified, untouched CD4+CD45RA+ naïve helper T cells. Isolated cells are characterized by flow cytometry prior to cryopreservation to ensure a highly pure and viable cell population.
