Clinical Grade Non-Transfusable Peripheral Blood CD19 Depleted Cells, Frozen
Human B cells are lymphocytes that are characterized by the expression of CD19 on the cell surface. These cells are one of the main cell types involved in the humoral immune response. Upon activation, due to an encounter with an antigen, B cells will act as antigen-presenting cells (APCs), make antibodies against foreign antigens, and develop into memory B cells or plasma cells.
Human peripheral blood CD19+ B cells are depleted from the total cell population using direct immunomagnetic anti-CD19 beads. All cell isolation components, including reagents, tubing sets, instruments, and buffers, are manufactured and controlled under an ISO 13485 certified quality system under FDA oversight. Cell culture procedures, including open manipulation of vials, final filling, and closure of finished products, are performed inside ISO 5 air quality processing chambers located within an FDA-registered cell manufacturing facility. Isolated primary cells are characterized by flow cytometry to ensure a highly pure and viable cell population.
Cells were obtained using Institutional Review Board (IRB) approved consent forms and protocols. All reagents and devices used to collect and separate the cells are certified clinical grade. This item is for research use only.
