Clinical Grade Non-Transfusable Mobilized Peripheral Blood CD137+ Cells, G-CSF, Frozen
CD137 is a member of the TNFR-family and functions as a costimulatory molecule that promotes the proliferation and survival of activated T cells. It is also expressed on other immune cells such as B cells, dendritic cells, and granulocytes.
Human CD137+ cells are isolated from the mononuclear cell fraction by means of indirect positive selection. Cells expressing CD137 are enriched from the mononuclear cell population using a CD137-biotin antibody and anti-biotin immunomagnetic beads. CD137+ cells are characterized by flow cytometry before cryopreservation to ensure a highly pure and viable cell population.
Cells were obtained using Institutional Review Board (IRB) approved consent forms and protocols. All reagents and devices used in the collection and separation process are certified clinical grade. This item is for research use only.
