Bone Marrow Mesenchymal Stem Cells, Frozen
Bone marrow mononuclear cells (MNCs) are separated from whole bone marrow by a density gradient centrifugation protocol. MNCs are cultured for 9-14 days using the MesenCult™-ACF Culture Kit. After culture, adherent cells are checked for >90% purity of CD73, CD90, and CD105 and <5% expression of CD14, CD34 and CD45 expression by flow cytometry before cryopreservation.
Cells were obtained using Institutional Review Board (IRB) approved consent forms and protocols.
