StemExpress Statement Regarding Win in L.A. Superior Court
StemExpress is pleased with today’s ruling in Los Angeles Superior Court granting all of the company’s requests for discovery regarding the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) illegal behavior. The Court’s ruling requires CMP to produce documents, communication records, and all unedited videotapes (including recordings of interviews with Holly O’Donnell, a character who also appears in the CMP videos). The Court also granted StemExpress the opportunity to obtain deposition testimony from (i) CMP’s corporate representative; (ii) David Daleiden; (iii) “Susan Tennenbaum” (Daleiden’s unknown accomplice who used a fake name and presented herself as the CEO of BIOMAX); and (iv) Holly O’Donnell. Addressing the merits of CMP’s motion currently at issue before the Court—which seeks to dismiss StemExpress’s lawsuit—the Court concluded that “there is sufficient evidence . . . to support [StemExpress’s] reasonable expectation that their conversation would not be overheard.” StemExpress continues to receive strong support from researchers around the globe and looks forward to evidence becoming public through document production and deposition testimony under oath.
