StemExpress collects Leuko Paks are highly-enriched leukapheresis-derived products. This product contains higher concentrations of mononuclear cells, B cells, T cells, stem/progenitor cells, dendritic cells, and other cell types as compared to standard venipuncture collection methods or buffy coats. We can provide products from specific demographic groups upon request. Approximately 4 blood volumes are processed using the Spectra Optia® Apheresis System and between 50 and 250mL of autologous plasma can be collected at the same time as the mononuclear cells. DNA / RNA Isolation
StemExpress provides the timely procurement of human or murine primary cells and tissues guided by our IRB approved protocols. We then isolate genomic DNA, RNA, and cDNA from any of our samples. StemExpress can also conduct contract research including several cell assays and flow cytometric analysis. Whole Peripheral Blood and Buffy Coat Procurement
StemExpress collects whole peripheral blood and buffy coats from all types of both healthy and diseased donors. We can provide blood products from specific demographic groups upon request in addition to blood products from specific disease subsets. Procurement involves complete anonymity for the patients who are donating. We utilize random generated numbers to track our blood specimens, and there are no identifiers that can be traced back to the donors.
