StemExpress is happy to work with researchers to help design and carry out custom orders.

Who can purchase products from StemExpress?
Anybody can browse the online product catalog; however, our advisory panel must approve researchers after they submit information about their study and funding. We take orders both online and over the phone (530-626-7000).

Where can StemExpress ship products?
We normally ship anywhere in North America, but we may be able to ship some products overseas. We have a variety of shipping methods to meet your needs. Just ask us!

Does StemExpress have an IRB?
Yes! We proudly collaborate with Biomedical Research Institute of America to ensure that we perform all of our work in a safe, ethical, and legal manner.

Who can donate?
We welcome donations from anybody after completing a short medical questionnaire and interview with our trained staff. We are interested in working with both healthy people and those dealing with health challenges.

How does StemExpress process samples?
We process all of our tissues and perform cell culture under aseptic conditions in Class II laminar flow hoods.

What kind of demographic information is attached to specimens?
StemExpress is serious about donor confidentiality, so we strictly observe HIPAA regulations. All samples are deidentified and assigned a nonspecific sample number. If the study requires demographic information, we can accommodate nonspecific criteria such as age, gender, and some health history.
